Committees

ISSTUD is organised through independent committees. Any of the members can request the formation of a committee. The current list of committees are as follows:

• Literature Committee (Persian literature)
• Socio-Political Committee
• Sports Committee
• Iran Studies Committee
• Music Committee
• Tamashakhane Committee (a place to watch)

The board as a whole organizes general events, such as events held in collaboration with the International office (Yalda Night or the Iranian New Year programs).

Iranian Studies Committee (ISC)
Iranian studies committee acts as a gathering point for those who are interested in Iran's heritage and culture. The committee's principal activities comprise lectures on historical and cultural aspects during year on a wide range of subjects, publication of occasional brochures and catalogs, exhibitions and workshops.

This work not only helps to spread knowledge of the Society's past but will be a useful guide for us in the twenty-first century as the committee will continue to be a bridge between two cultures, with benefits for all who are interested in Persian history, culture and art.

Music Committee
Music committee is formed to pursue the following aims:
1. Presenting the Iranian music to the international society of TUDelft
2. Communication between players in different genres
3. Performing in events
4. Execute annual concerts in collaboration with international music community of TUDelft
